Daughter of One of the World’s Leading Psychopaths Bullied as She Tries to Anchor ‘the News’ with ‘Facts’ on Major US Network
When MSNBC TV news anchor Mika Brzezinski attempted to cross to the Ukraine on Monday March 24, she was blocked by her male co-host and she became visibly irritated. Social commentary website, Upworthy, posted the video clip as an example of men bullying women. But, is Brzezinski’s appeal to cover “the facts” genuine? Snoopman sketches the career backgrounds of Mika Brzezinski’s father, Zbigniew, and her brother, Mark, and he reveals the MSNBC news host is not as neutral as she makes out.

MSNBC TV news anchor Mika Brzezinski tried live-on-air to cross to coverage in the Ukraine, but was blocked by her condescending male co-host on Monday March 24. The rude co-host of MSNBC‘s “Morning Joe” news program, Joe Scarborough, wanted to keep going with a discussion about the disappearance of Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370.
Visibly irritated, Brzezinski blurted that they needed to cover “the facts”, rather than “theories” about what happened to the missing Malaysian Airlines’ plane, which she regarded as a cheap way to gain high viewer ratings.
Since the testy on-air exchange took place, the social commentary website, Upworthy, has spread the video clip, arguing it is another example of males bullying females. In the clip, Brzezinski seems to take ‘the news’ seriously. But, is there more to it than that?
Who is Mika Brzezinski?
In the scheme of things, the disappearance of Flight 370 has been a huge distraction from ‘big picture’ news. So, Mika Brzezinski should be commended for wanting to ‘go to Ukraine’, right?
Well, recall that Russell Brand showed Mika Brzezinski and her colleagues up for being rude, frivolous eggs when he appeared on MSNBC in mid-2013. So, why is Mika Brzezinski so passionate about covering the Ukraine? To understand that, we sketch her father’s work biography and her brother’s connection to a now-defunct think-tank that needs to be a household name: The Project for a New American Century.
Brzezinski was born in New York City, AKA Gotham, the daughter of Polish-born foreign policy expert and former US National Security Advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski; himself the son of a displaced aristocratic Pole (according to Peter Dale Scott in his book, Road to 9/11). Mika’s father wrote a book called The Grand Chessboard: American Primacy And It’s Geostrategic Imperatives (1997), in which he argued that regional powers needed to be countered so that none became a world power that could challenge the United States of America. This includes Russia and China; two regional powers on the Eurasian landmass that the US-led NATO has been rapidly encircling since 9/11 (as Eugene Jarecki shows in his documentary, Why We Fight).
For America, the chief geopolitical prize is Eurasia… Now a non-Eurasian power is preeminent in Eurasia – and America’s global primacy is directly dependent on how long and how effectively its preponderance on the Eurasian continent is sustained.
In that context, how America ‘manages’ Eurasia is critical. Eurasia is the globe’s largest continent and is geopolitically axial. A power that dominates Eurasia would control two of the world’s three most advanced and economically productive regions. A mere glance at the map also suggests that control over Eurasia would almost automatically entail Africa’s subordination, rendering the Western Hemisphere and Oceania geopolitically peripheral to the world’s central continent. About 75 per cent of the world’s people live in Eurasia, and most of the world’s physical wealth is there as well, both in its enterprises and underneath its soil. Eurasia accounts for 60 per cent of the world’s GNP and about three-fourths of the world’s known energy resources.
Zbigniew argued in The Grand Chessboard that because the US was a more multi-cultural popular democracy than it had been at the time of the Japanese Empire’s attack on Pearl Harbor, it had become more “difficult to fashion a consensus on foreign policy issues, except in the circumstance of a truly massive and widely perceived direct external threat.” (p. 211). By ‘consensus’, Mika’s father was talking about the projection of US military power without its government losing legitimacy to rule.
Thus, Zbigniew Brzezinski wrote, It is also a fact that America is too democratic at home to be autocratic abroad. This limits the use of America’s power, especially its capacity for military intimidation. Never before has a populist democracy attained international supremacy. But the pursuit of power is not a goal that commands popular passion, except in conditions of a sudden threat or challenge to the public’s sense of domestic well-being. The economic self-denial (that is, defense spending) and the human sacrifice (casualties, even among professional soldiers) required in the effort are uncongenial to democratic instincts. Democracy is inimical to imperial mobilization.
Furthermore, Zbigniew is a long-time associate of another former US National Security Advisor, Henry Kissinger, who supported the CIA-backed coup of Chile on September 11 1973. Both are life-long friends of David Rockefeller Sr., a key American oligarch at the centre of a blueprint to transform the world called the “1980s Project”, as Laurence Shoup and William Minter argued its purpose was in their book, Imperial Brain Trust. This project, first formulated between 1971-1973 at a New York-based think-tank, the Council on Foreign Relations, planned the spread of ‘free markets’ through the application of a ‘Shock Doctrine’.
As free-thinking journalist Naomi Klein shows in her meticulously researched book, The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism, highly networked key insiders across the state-corporate-academic-think-tank nexus coerce governments through financial, economic and military warfare, to force them to submit to the rule of what has been identified as a Transnational Capitalist Class. Armies of corporate professionals, sponsored politicians and elite technocrats are working on what is essentially a global neo-colonial project (AKA globalization), which is an economic war framework directed by the super-rich. A corporatized totalitarianism is driving the construction of a worldwide technocratic system. A technocracy is an economic system that exploits technology as a means of social control through the allocation of energy and resources rather than the market price system of cartelized monopoly capitalism. The construction of this global superstructure was embedded into the “1980’s Project”.
You can bet Mika Brzezinski has not revealed her father’s association with the Mujahideen in Afghanistan, either. Zbigniew endorsed President Carter’s directive to supply arms to the Mujahideen, and train them in terrorism tactics, as a covert strategy to draw the Soviet Union into Afghanistan, and embroil the communist state in a long, un-winnable ‘Vietnam’ type conflict that would make Moscow look bad, and economically weaken the USSR. Indeed, in 1979 Zbigniew gained the confidence of his intended pawns on the Grand Chessboard when he met with Mujahideen ‘freedom-fighters’ and said, with the help of a translator, as he pointed to the hills: “That land over there is yours. You’ll go back to it one day because your fight will prevail and you’ll have your homes and your mosques back again. Because your cause is right and God is on your side”.
In a 1998 interview with French magazine Le Nouvel Observateur, Brzezinski defended his decision to arm and train the Mujahideen in techniques of terrorism saying the significance of , “[s]ome stirred-up Moslems” was inconsequential to “the liberation of Central Europe and the end of the cold war”. Functional psychopaths such as Zbigniew enjoy successful careers, augmenting power and accumulating wealth by gaining the confidence of their intended victims. Zbigniew, like all psychopaths, has no need to admit his criminal responsibility for the genocide he has caused, because of the propagandist role the world’s major media outlets play to support such well-mannered monsters.
The MSNBC news program, Morning Joe hosted a live link with Zbigniew Brzezinski in late February 2014 on the ‘Ukraine issue’. (Snoopman News notes that the Anglo-American dominated Global Media Complex only focus on far-flung places when conflict arises over the Anglo-American Brotherhood’s perceived right to rule the jurisdiction in question). In the biased MSNBC interview, the United States was presumed as ‘good’, and cast Zbigniew Brzezinski as a tolerant paternal figure over the nation through ideological rarefication, whereby Mika was remembered as a misbehaving, but adorable child. (Cue political actor cast in the ideologically-infused role of a ‘nation as person’ hero with expert brain powers). With this ridiculous attempt at repartee between Scarborough and the Brzezinskis before the interview began, it was not surprising then that the line of questioning was focused on what Russia needed to do to behave. In Zbigniew’s worldview, a behaving Russia means helping Ukraine maintain its ‘independence’, so that it could eventually be absorbed by the European Union. Thus, as master propagandists, the personalized vignette of a tolerant father figure to introduce Zbigniew was used to subtly link ‘Morning Joe’s ‘hard to get’ busy guest as a patient patriarch figure of the nation (actually an empire), at that particular Bat Time on that particular Bat Channel.
Where technocrats like Zbigniew lack a ‘gift of the gab’ to pull off being funny in public, the American Brotherhood has relied on presidents to deploy witty lines as a form of ‘crowd control’ (as rapper KRS One worded this form of population indoctrination in the documentary The Obama Deception). By ‘crowd control’, KRS One meant that the mass populace of USA America was tricked into voting for Obama instead of opting for mutiny following the global financial crisis, that was engineered mainly by bankers in Gotham and its fraternal dark twin, the City of London). USA America’s technocrats, such as Zbigniew Brzezinski are masters of propagandist techniques. Zbigniew’s role in the elite and mass media is essentially a ‘mission to persuade’. His rhetoric relies on misinformation, confusion and ignorance. Thus, Zbigniew’s February 2014 MSNBC interview was laced with Orwellian doublethink.
As readers familiar with George Orwell’s dystopian novel Nineteen Eighty-four will recall, doublethink is defined as “the power of holding two contradictory beliefs in one’s mind simultaneously, and accepting both of them” (1993 [1949]: 223). This brainwashing provides the capacity to dispense with unwelcome truths by forgetting them, yet being able to recall them when convenient and deliberately deceive others while maintaining an inner conviction that the choices are right. Brzezinski is committed to the idea of larger and larger political units being formed out of conflicts, like the three super-states described in Nineteen Eighty-four, because he is in the orbit of the American Rockefeller banking and oil dynasty. Zbigniew Brzezinski has been long-associated with the global policy-shaping groups, such as the Council on Foreign Relations, the Trilateral Commission and the Bilderberg Group, that seek a one-world invisible government endgame (as numerous investigators have found). These investigations include: Daniel Estulin’s The True Story of the Bilderberg Group; James Perloff’s The Shadows of Power; Laurence Shoup and William Minter’s Imperial Brain Trust; William Engdahl’s A Century of War: Anglo-American Oil Politics and the New World Order; Michel Chossudovsky’s The Globalization of Poverty and the New World Order; and Jason Bermas’ Invisible Empire: A New World Order Defined.
Since Zbigniew Brzezinski was purporting to support the idea of a self-governing state, while at the same outlining the goal that Ukraine join the European Union, a much larger political-economic unit, Zbigniew was able to subtly slip his illogical argument into the live-to-air interview, without any of the anchors and guest journalists and (off-screen) producers battering an elite eyelid. Here, Zbigniew proposed the opposing propositions, not because he is stupid. Rather, as a consummate propagandist, he made himself appear to support the idea of an autonomous state on the one hand, in order distract the audience that the other hand was ‘gloved’. This ‘gloved hand’ concealed the objective of having Ukraine absorbed into the Transnational Capitalist Class-controlled European Union, because this would have revealed intentionality. This deception was necessary in order to hide the inherent fascism underpinning the Transnational Capitalist Class’ deep-state operations to destabilize Ukraine, as they have done the world-over, in accordance with the ‘Shock Doctrine’.
Perhaps Joe Scarborough sighed and shut-down his female co-host because he saw her agenda to promote her father’s and the Obama administration’s foreign policy aims. This is not to say that ‘Morning Joe’ and the all male cast of guests were unbiased and had the grace of the Dalai Lama in Hearts. Far from it. Scarborough may have blocked his co-anchor because of the subtext detectable in Mika’s brain. After all, Mika Brzezinski didn’t say, “We need to ‘go to Ukraine’ because Zbigniew Brzezinski. Because father. Because American-Ukrainian Advisory Committee. Because was chairman.” Indeed, Mika’s dad is a key insider of the Transnational Capitalist Class. The American-Ukrainian Advisory Committee is a private group that at one time was headed by key insiders such as Zbigniew Brzezinski, Henry Kissinger, Frank Carlucci, George Soros and Malcolm Forbes. They urged President William Jefferson Clinton to promote Ukrainian energy independence from Russia, in 1994 (following the Wall Street-Washington Complex-engineered break-up of the Soviet Union, in accordance with the ‘Shock Doctrine’ that Naomi Klein reported). The collapse of the Soviet Empire was a gain for the US-dominated Transnational Corporate Empire. Ordinary people bore the brunt of the economic devastation that ensued.
Despite the extraordinary help from a propagandist media system, the 1980s Project that Brzezinski helped ‘captain’ for several decades, needed constant homework. Indeed, the cliche that governments and transnational corporations are solely focused only short term goals like voter popularity and quarterly profits, respectively, shrinks to a myth when we contemplate the picture of Zbigniew Brzezinski & Co. urging Clinton to promote Ukrainian energy independence from Russia, in 1994, (following the break-up of the Soviet Union, engineered by bankers from Gotham City and technocrats from Washington). They did not stop there. Numerous government institutions and oligarch-funded foundations in the United States have supported a strategy to destabilize the Ukrainian government for a number of years, with $5 billion in tax-funding for “democracy building” projects over the past decade. Among the foundations that provided this support were Freedom House, whose Board of Trustees includes Zbigniew. This style of coup is known as a color revolution, whereby the overthrow of government is made to appear as though it started in the ‘streets’ through a popular uprising to rid an oppressed people of an autocratic leader or government.
Zbigniew’s daughter, Mika, is able to routinely omit key evidence regarding her father’s background of covert operations partly because the American media system is propagandist by design. Because, as one of America’s leading US foreign policy critics, linguist Noam Chomsky has argued, in societies with formal democracy, a propagandist system of communication is required because the state cannot openly intimidate and suppress ‘free’ populations without losing the legitimacy to rule. Therefore, the on-air testiness reveals a vignette into differences of opinion about how to best buttress oligarchic-elite power, whether by distracting the audience with the spectacle of a missing jetliner, or seeking the fabled American peoples’ acquiescence to US intervention in a far-flung place, by drawing the ‘Go to Ukraine’ playing card that Mika had kept close to her chest.
Mika’s brother Mark also has intriguing connections. He is a foreign policy expert and is the US Ambassador to Sweden. He was a member of the Project for a New American Century (PNAC), a now-defunct Washington-based think-tank that argued the United States risked losing its sole super-power status if it was not seen to be fighting two major wars at once. PNAC members called for a ‘revolution in military affairs’, or the reconfiguration of American forces into smaller more mobile units, capable of exploiting new war-fighting technologies. In a paper titled “Rebuilding America’s Defences”, this revolution, wrote the authors in September 2000, would take a long time, “absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event – like a new Pearl Harbor” (p.51). This transformation of the military conformed to the concurrent US military’s Joint Chiefs of Staff doctrine, ‘Full Spectrum Dominance’, that set a goal for the United States to dominate the world, whether on land, sea, air, space and cyberspace, by the year 2020, permanently.
PNAC members included many Washington technocrats that soon became members of President George Walker Bush’s administration: Richard Perle, Paul Wolfowitz, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Bremmer, and Robert Zoellick. The sub-terrain connections of many PNAC members to what is known as the ‘deep state’, are revealed in a brilliantly researched book, Another Nineteen: Investigating 9/11 Suspects. The term deep state refers to oligarchs, or the rich and super-rich, who use covert means to advance their interests, with the help of a ‘Fraternity’, as Charles Higham called the criminal network from a prior era in his book, Trading with the Enemy: The Nazi-American Money Plot 1933-1949. The author of Another Nineteen , Kevin Ryan, presents a more likely list of top suspects that fit the picture of a far more realistic 9/11 narrative than the ridiculously over-simplified official story. Ryan shows that key insiders, holding top posts in the US state apparatus had the means, motive and histories of deep state activity to organize a coup d’état with key insiders from the US corporate world, along with vital help from the Saudi and Pakistani regimes. Al Qaeda operatives served as the gullible patsies. The immediate cover-up of the terror attacks that began on September 11 2011, together with the official account of 9/11, read like deep state criminal satirists scripted them. Those dark satirists are likely to be Ryan’s 9/11 suspects. When we recall that the CIA-backed Mujahideen was the predecessor to Al Qaeda, we begin to see the traces of a deep state network still at-large.
The deep-state network has a long history. When we recall that Zbigniew mentioned in his book The Grand Chessboard that it had become much harder to gain support for American military interventions abroad than at the time of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, because ‘the American people’ were more multicultural in composition, we catch a glimpse into how deep state actors think.
Indeed, the operation of a deep state criminal network was behind the plot to antagonize the Japanese to attack Pearl Harbor, as Robert Stinnett shows compellingly in his book, Day of Deceit: The Truth about FDR and Pearl Harbor. A secret inner circle around president Roosevelt had conspired with the British and Dutch governments to cut off crucial supplies of oil, steel and aviation lubricants to Japan. This strategy, embarked upon in early 1941 after US military code-breakers successfully deciphered Japanese diplomatic and military encrypted communications in December 1940, was intended to draw the United States into another global war.
Is it really plausible, then, that Washington’s technocratic psychopaths, such as Zbigniew Brzezinski, with decades of top security and political access, don’t know that Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s secret inner circle not only provoked the Imperial Government of Japan to attack Pearl Harbor, but also don’t know that FDR’s plotters were tracking the progress of the Japanese attack fleet with a precision that makes the disappearance of Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370 embarrassing? After all, the evil genius Winston Churchill, no less, spells it out in Volume III of his epic series, The Second World War: The Grand Alliance (p.470). (Lest the reader feel we are falsely maligning Winston Churchill’s still favourable reputation, a stature propped up by a first-rate Anglo-American propaganda media system, we point to G. Edward Griffin’s book, The Creature from Jekyll Island; William Engdahl’s books, A Century of War and Gods of Money; and Guido Giacomo Preparata’s book, Conjuring Hitler).
Mika Brzezinski, a Media Sock Muppet with Dark Family Secrets
So, Mika Brzezinski’s day job at MSNBC is about over-simplifying ‘the facts’ of ‘the news’. That is, unless you think it’s plausible that Mika has not read her father’s most well-known book, and has no idea what the psychopathic bullying males in her family get up to.
Indeed, Mika’s father wrote in The Grand Chessboard that part of America’s success, as a hegemonic power, is the domination of its media system over the world. It is this media system that creates a positive image for the United States, through ideologically-infused news stories, frivolous television programs, and propagandist Hollywood movies that sanitize America’s history. As Zbigniew helpfully explains, its this positive image that the United States enjoys (even after a dozen years of the unfinished ‘global war on terror’), that reduces the expense, resources and complications that would otherwise compound if the American-led Transnational Corporate Empire, as we call it at Snoopman News, needed a military presence in every jurisdiction of the world.
So, when MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski says she wants to ‘go to Ukraine’, she’s not talking about covering this big picture issue critically. (Such critical accounts can be read on GlobalResearch.ca, a Canadian news and current affairs website which hosts thousands of free-thinking academic, activist, ex-government, media, and professional writers). Mika is working within a highly sophisticated propaganda media system, or Global Media Complex dominated by just seven transnational media corporations of which six are American based: Time Warner, Disney, NewsCorp, NBC Universal, CBS and Viacom.
Even a television news channel with Russia in it’s name, Russia Today (RT) can air stories with voices in it that pointed out Russian president Vladimir Putin’s role in genocide, while at the same time recalling the record of deep state coup coup d’état, military encirclement, economic warfare and genocide of the United States, the United Kingdom and the European Union’s best friend, NATO.
But, not on “Morning Joe”.
Therefore, Mika Brzezinski is a media missionary propaganda model working for the Global Media Complex to support the permanent war economy and the construction of a new world technocratic order.
